Winemaker Notes: Dark and inky, our 2021 Inkblot Petite Sirah overflows with boysenberry jam, plum, and molasses on the nose. Tooth staining, with full bodied flavors of plum, licorice, and black pepper, this wine reveals hints of dark fruit and oak throughout the long and pleasurable finish. 22 months in 100% French Oak (45% new)
Pair with high-fat, rich protein dishes like grilled ribeye steak, braised short ribs, or roasted lamb. Recommended to decant for 30–60 minutes to open up the concentrated dark fruit and soften the robust 15.5% alcohol weight.
90% Petite Syrah, 10% Petit Verdot

This wine is concentrated, with aromas of boysenberry, olallieberry, cardamom, black tea, toasty vanilla and violets on the nose. The flavors on the palate are pomegranate-cranberry, dark cherry and orange zest, interwoven with vanilla cream, dried allspice, chocolate and a dry finish. — Tonya Pitts
