Based in Petit Manseng, our 2024 Five Forks blend features the depth of aroma and texture that are inherent to this unique variety. The aromatics are generous, and as the wine changes temperature in your glass, you will find the dynamic profile evolving from pineapple, ripe citrus, and tropical fruits to stone fruits and lime leaf, accented with a touch of minerality. The freshness of the 2024 Five Forks is accented by notes of herbal notes, with orange blossom honey, and passionfruit. The palate showcases very bright acidity with a layered phenolic texture and a clean finish.
74% Petit Manseng, 16% Sauvignon Blanc, 6% Pinot Gris, 4% Malvasia Bianca
Petit Manseng is their signature white variety and they have learned that Sauvignon Blanc makes a natural blending partner. While both varieties feature the acidity and freshness that are the hallmarks of their house style, the Petit Manseng leans to the savory side while the Sauvignon Blanc brings bright citrus notes. In this vintage, they also accented the blend with the smallest bit of skin contact Malvasia Bianca for additional aromatics and a touch of Pinot Gris for added complexity.
Fermented and aged 9 months in barrel, both neutral French and Acacia barrels, and stainless steel. This wine is intended to drink now, but with proper cellaring, it is expected to drink well for the next two to four years.
