Rosé 2025

Aromas of peach, grapefruit, and guava lead into a vibrant palate layered with nectarine, strawberry, and a touch of watermelon. Balanced acidity and a textured mouthfeel carry the wine through a bright, acid-driven finish. Each element plays its part in harmony. No single note overtakes the other, creating a wine that’s both expressive and elegantly composed. Pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, roasted chicken, fresh salads, and mild or soft cheeses.

82% Merlot, 18% Malbec

Winemaker Notes: We ferment our rosé in multiple small lots, utilizing different extraction and fermentation methods with each, which provides for the greatest expression of our estate vineyard.  In 2025, we added more early-picked Merlot and chose to direct-press the Malbec to capture bright acidity with fresh citrus and stone fruit aromas. Overall, this vintage is a bit more plush, with excellent freshness and a gentle texture, coming from the classic Virginia growing season. The stone fruit and citrus notes play a leading role complementing the berry characters. This wine reflects our classic style—fresh, energetic, and delicious. Aged in stainless steel. This wine is meant to be enjoyed within two years.
