Early Mountain Cabernet Franc 2024

As an exciting expression of Virginia Cabernet Franc, this wine embraces the variety’s diverse aromas with a focus on red fruits. Leading with notes of strawberry, brambleberry, and cranberry, framed by more savory attributes of black pepper, oregano, and bay leaf. The palate is full but elegant with a subtle oak influence, balanced mature tannins, and a bright finish. This wine is delicious now but, with proper cellaring, will develop and drink well for three to six years.

Aged ten months in French and Northern European 225L and 500L barrels; 23% new.
